Lecture Theatre AT101 is the flagship venue in the new Advanced Technology Centre and used for public lectures by national and international speakers. Despite inadequate attention to acoustics and sound reinforcement in the initial construction, our engagement facilitated a complete renewal of loudspeaker system and room acoustic treatment to achieve exceptional speech intelligibility. System presets allow the beam steering characteristics of the two loudspeaker arrays to be shaped to suit the room when bleacher seat is extended for lectures or retracted for trade events.
