Project Description
As part of the construction of the stadium, Hanson Associates was appointed by the sound system contractor to undertake an independent review of system engineering and 3D acoustic computer modelling for the main bowl PA system. Core tasks involved the verification of suppliers’ proposals against project brief requirements and electroacoustic technical specifications.
The team’s ability to reliably assess various metrics and apply engineering mathematics used assess speech intelligibility allowed tolerances in the loudspeaker system design to be identified and cost savings realised in the final compliant loudspeaker configuration.
