Australian War Memorial “Teacup”

Hanson Associates provided acoustics advice to improve conditions in the “teacup”, a space for educational events located amongst the high impact audio visual exhibits in the Anzac Hall.  Current weaknesses in sound insulation are causing distraction to school groups and restricting the room’s use to events that are less sensitive to noise.  Concepts for three levels of upgrade were put forward for further development by the project team and architect.
