Project Description

RMIT sought expertise for the implementation of new sound reinforcement and audio visual upgrades in the challenging acoustical environment of RMIT’s heritage gallery space.  In addition to providing supporting infrastructure for temporary multimedia exhibits, the project scope included an engineered loudspeaker system distributed through each gallery space to deliver intelligible speech as part of the visitor audio guidance system and to provide speech reinforcement during conferences or opening night events.  Hanson Associates scope included acoustic design, audio visual engineering and electroacoustics commissioning, following practical completion of the installation.
